Security Requirements for Artist Performance Venues

The promoter will provide security arrangements customized to meet the artist's specific requirements. The following is an example of security provisions for an artist:

1. Dressing Rooms

Two non-uniformed security guards will be provided as per the discretion of the artist's production manager.

2. Mix Platform

The "Mix Platform" (also called the "mixing platform" or "soundboard") is an area within a concert or event venue where sound and lighting engineers control the audio and visual elements of the performance. It typically includes equipment like mixers, amplifiers, and lighting consoles, allowing technicians to adjust levels, effects, and other settings in real-time to ensure high-quality sound and visuals. Located in the middle or back of the audience area, the mix platform provides engineers a vantage point for monitorting how the audience experiences the show, making adjustments as needed throughout the performance.

One uniformed security guard will be stationed at the mix platform, starting from when doors open to the public until the performance ends and all attendees have exited the venue.

3. Stage Area

Two uniformed security guards will be positioned at both stage left and stage right on the floor, and at any locations where the publilc might access the backstage area. To allow the artist to perform without disruption, only individuals directly involved in the show's production may be present on stage during the performance. If anyone unrelated to the show is on stage, the artist may ask them to leave immediately, and the promoter will ensure compliance with this request.

4. Multiple Performances

If this engagement is for multiple shows over more than 1 day, overnight security will be required. The promoter will cover any expenses for equipment lost due to theft, damage, natural disasters, or other reasons when equipment is left overnight. In addition, the promoter will be responsible for obataining insurance that fully covers the value of any equipment left on-site overnight.
