The American professional audio plug-in developer IBallRoad Audio has released 'DSC/L-01' (version 0.8.0.) — The Dual Stereo Compressor/Limiter plug-in built from a new algorithm on ideal compression calculation. ‘DSC/L-01’ is available as a VST3 and AU (Audio Units) plug-in for PC and Mac. (64-bit only)
The algorithm for ‘DSC/L-01’ was designed on the basis of mathematical arguments of the result by human ear. As a result, IBallRoad Audio developed the ‘Auto Sensitivity Technology’ from this algorithm and this technology leads you to an ideal compression calculation at each point, the way analog audio equipment does without a high load on the CPU. At this point, ‘DSC/L-01’ can bring about a fairly new approach to traditional compression.
The algorithms adopted to ADT (Auto Dynamic Trim) mode of DSC/L-01 allow users to calculate the dynamic trim without statically setting it for each unit of signal processing time. In this mode, the ratio is calculated using a unique formula due to the position of the trigger threshold knobs and increasing the gain of the input signal. ADT mode leads you to an ideal compression at each point, so you no longer need to set the dynamic trim manually.

Filters give you all the functionality you’d expect from a professional filter, but with an extra feature: control of cutoff frequency
Play with STATE in such a way as to pick up more precise settings, thanks to the intuitive interface, it’s much easier to do this than you think
Thanks to the DSC/L-01 algorithms, IBallRoad engineers increased the oversampling rate for each channel separately, but it creates a very positive effect
