Mawashi Geri - The Round-House kick synthesizer is a complete kick-drum designing instrument. With Mawashi Geri you can design the fundamental of your kick sound using the cutting-edge kick synthesizer engine and add some flavor to your kick with the built-in sampler. You can control saturation (analog tube-style saturation), EQ, compression and stereo width to edit your kick sound for your musical intention. More than 200 professional factory presets are provided in different genres for your needs and you can choose from prebuilt various themes (skins) or customize your own theme with your own favorite colors. So, with Mawashi Geri you can make your kick unique and fit it perfectly in your music production.

Mawashi Geri provides 4 major modes - Pitch Env, Amp Env, Comp and EQ - in the FX Display section, from which you can design your kick sound in detail and make any adjustments to fit it in your music tracks. In Pitch Env mode, you can set the pitch envelope of the kick synthesizer. Click and drag any dot to change its frequency and the time it will take to get to it. If you double click any dot then you can enable or disable snap to note mode. In this note mode, the frequency will snap to the closest MIDI note. In the above image, for example, the kick synthesizer will start at 10000 Hz, drop to 392 Hz (G4 note) in 7.6 milliseconds, drop to 110 Hz in 40 ms and drop and stay at 49 Hz (G1 note) in 99.6 milliseconds.

In Amp Env mode, you can set the amplitude (volume) envelope of your kick. It will affect both the kick synthesizer and the loaded sample. Click and drag any green dot to change its gain and the time it will takes to get to it. If you click and drag any white dot then you can change the shape of the curve from logarithmic till exponential.

In Comp mode, you can tweak the parameters of the built-in compressor. This built-in compressor is the state of the art compressor containing all of the common parameters and working with high precision and smooth characteristics. By tweaking Comp Mix knob you can set the amount of compressed signal (100% - only compressed signal, less than 100% - parallel compression).

In EQ mode, you can tweak the parameters of the built-in equalizer. This built-in equalizer is a simple but powerful textbook EQ, containing 1 high-pass, 1 low-pass and 3 bell-shape filters. Click and drag any dot to set its frequency and gain. If you point your cursor at any of the bell-shape dots and scroll up or down with your mouse then you can adjust the Q (width) parameter.
