Partnership Agreement: Extra-Group Musical Rights

Extra-Group Musical Rights

Commitment is paramount, whether you're a group or a production company, when building toward a recording career. Exclusivity is a key issue throughout such contractual relationships and evidence of it's practice, in general, prior to the signing formality, a much monitored factor. Members of a "High Profile" Act or production company would truly be guilty of stealing assets from their prime partnership, by lending their credibility and talent to another. Such behavior is viewed warily by record companies.

Expenses

These are obviously a group of issues which must be carefully governed by meticulously prepared by Laws, so as to prevent grave rifts developing later that'll destroy the partnership, most certainly.

Distribution of Income and Profits

Incentive is nice, reward even better, and cash flow is both necessary and stimulating. These things are true for individuals and their repective partnership. Legislate, once again, meticulously for the 3 phases of this partnership's life.

Limitations/Exclusions

Sould cover reasonable notice for gigs and promotional appearances, as well as defining how many P.A. (Public Address: an electronic system comprising microphones, amplifiers, loudspeakers, and related equipment) should be requested, which are not paid performances. Obviously, budget issues must appear here too.
