Safari Pedals 'Gorilla Drive': The Plug-in that emulates A Super Soft Preamp with Germanium Overdrive and Tone Tilt Function that shifts from boosting Super Subs to Shiny High Frequencies

Safari Pedals, the Israeli company based on stomp pedals for line level and microphones as well as VST, AAX and AU plug-ins, has recently released 'Gorilla Drive' — A plug-in that offers a super soft preamp emulation with Germanium overdrive as well as a tone tilt button that shifts from boosting low-end and subs to super high frequencies. It also provides a Blend knob as well as an Auto Gain knob. Gorilla Drive is a VST/AAX/AU plug-in.

Noam Levinberg, the founder of Safari Pedals, says "Pedals in general is an amazing idea because with these little boxes you can really express yourself and really be creative and go crazy. I kind of had this thought in my mind that I said why should only guitarists have fun with pedals in my studio." So he founded Safari Pedals to provide sound engineers, producers and musicians with tailor-made pedals for various tasks. Gorilla Drive is an overdrive plug-in that basically overdrives any musical stuffs. You got an Input knob, Output knob, and Tone knob that is a tone shifter between highs and lows. With Blend knob you can add really nice warmth to your tracks, and with Tone knob you can add a cool sub harmonic thing in your low-end. Gorilla Drive adds a sort of pleasing saturation to your thin sounding tracks.

Gorilla Drive was designed to be a gentle but highly effective Germanium-like overdrive, packed with a dreamy low-end Tone knob as well as some sweet shine. You can twist the Tone knob to get all the way from super subs to shiny highs. The Input and Output knobs create accurate and fluffy harmonics in your tracks.

Input and Output knobs actually have different drive flavors. Try combining them in different ways to get your desired sound. Tone knob is a tone shifter ranging from low-end to high frequencies (clockwise to highs, counter-clockwise to lows). Phase button is used to flip the phase 180 degrees. It is perfect for using with another clean channel. Auto Gain is for automatically adjusting the output level to the input. Blend knob allows you to blend the drive with the dry signal to your taste.

About 'Safari Pedals' (https://safaripedals.com)

Safari Pedals is a company based on stomp pedals for line level and microphones as well as VST, AAX and AU plug-ins with a fresh new approach.

After more than 15 years in the studio as an audio engineer, mixing engineer and mastering engineer, Noam Levinberg, the founder of Safari Pedals, had a good idea about what tools he likes to improve the songs he’s been working on for artists around the world as well as what are the things he missed in the arsenal of audio plug-ins, and hardware for producers and record makers. After a long time he decided to start his own company - and to blend his dream of what was missing with the experience he had as a record maker to create Safari Pedals. The concept of the company name is to try and let each person “go wild” and express his/her inner animal. Also the reason to stick to pedal designs was since Noam loves the inspiration he gets from guitar pedals and always saw them as something he would love to have more of as they represent playfulness and experimentation. We hope you enjoy our products. We always love feedback from our customers - So feel free to email me any time at [email protected].
