▲ SPST Switch:

A Single Pole Single Throw (SPST) switch is a switch that only has a single input and can connect only to one output. This means it only has one input terminal and only one output terminal.

▲ SPDT Switch:

A Single Pole Double Throw (SPDT) switch is a switch that only has a single input and can connect to and switch between 2 outputs. This means it has one input terminal and two output terminals.

▲ Transistor is a semiconductor device used to amplify or switch electronic signals and electrical power.

▲ NPN Transistor:

The NPN transistor amplifies the weak signal enter into the base and produces strong amplify signals at the collector end. In NPN transistor, the direction of movement of an electron is from the emitter to collector region due to which the current constitutes in the transistor.

▲ PNP Transistor:

It is a current controlled device. The small amount of base current controlled both the emitter and collector current.
