Audio Brewers ‘Piano Toy’: Far Expressive and Realistic Toy Piano Kontakt Library that comes in Ambisonics and Stereo
Audio Brewers, the first company to create sample libraries and virtual instruments recorded, mixed, and delivered in Ambisonics, has just released its fifth ambisonic Kontakt library 'Piano Toy'.
Piano Toy is a far expressive and realistic toy piano ambisonic Kontakt library recorded and mixed using three perspectives — Inside, Musician, and Far where, thanks to Audio Brewers’ three-dimensional recording and mixing expertise, help you experience the instrument in the utmost realistic way.
When sampling Piano Toy, Audio Brewers team sampled not only the typical sustains any other library would have but also keystrokes for utmost realism in the action. In addition, they went further for making a Muted, a Plucked and even a Feltversion. To create the perfect complement for these acoustic articulations, Audio Brewers team designed 10 Pads that will sit in the background of Piano Toy comfortably. All the Pads loop perfectly and were designed both in Stereo and Ambisonics.
Piano Toy was recorded and mixed using three perspectives — Inside, Musician, and Far. The ‘Inside’ mix will submerge you in the instrument and you will hear its resonance embrace you. It has a huge image and no directionality. The ‘Musician’ mix will have the piano at the tip of your fingers, and you will feel the perfect realism whilst playing. It has perfect balance between directionality and image. The ‘Far’ mix provides a more distant kind of sound and is perfect for when you want to use the piano as background of your music. It is very directional and its image is very narrow.
Thanks to Audio Brewers’ Sample Deconstruction technique, originally developed for Tangent Drum, they bring you Piano Toy as a 6-octave instrument, free of any of those glitches that traditional pitch shifting produces.
Since Piano Toy was recorded and mixed both in Ambisonics and Stereo, no matter if your music is in Stereo, Surround, Atmos, for VR (Virtual Reality) or even for custom speaker arrays, the result will always be as close to reality as they can get.
