There are three instruments played. (Banjo, Guitar, and Synth) With these three of them, the fundamental is first played without any of the harmonics. Then harmonics are added one at a time until there are 4 harmonics plus the fundamental. The instrument making the sound is unrecognizable until well into the harmonic build up. This demonstrates the important part that harmonics play in identification of a sound. How many harmonics did you need before recognizing the instruments?
