Stereo Short Delay on Percussion Track (Figure 1)

This setup produces an odd wobbling effect. The difference in delay time between left and right gives some sense of false stereo and the Depth, Rate and Feedback contribute to the overall Modulation effect. You should roll off a considerable amount of bass on this track.

Mono Medium Delay on Vocal Track (Figure 2)

This setup produces obvious multiple repetitions or echoes. Feedback controls the number of repeats. I used the 300 ms delay, but feel free to try others. Many people set the delay so that the echoes are in exact time with the tempo. It's a good place to start but you should twiddle withthe delay time until it feels right. There is no modulation here. The Depth parameter is zero.
