Why do we pay attention to analog synthesizers?

The analog synthesizer features are as follows:

1. The pitch is unstable (the longer you use it, the more anxious the pitch becomes).

2. Polyphony is limited (mostly monophony or 2 poly).

3. Since Subtractive Synthesis is generally used, most waveforms in oscillators are like sawtooth or pulse wave.

4. Sine waves can be generated from the oscillator of an Additive Synthesizers.

5. When tuning a pitch, the sound is separately tuned. So, it takes a long time to tune it separately.

6. Ring Modulation and Amplitude Modulation are generally used in analog synthesizers, and FM is used only in a very small number of advanced models.

7. Usually, analog synthesizers use two or more oscillators, and the natural phase between oscillators creates analog-specific richness and softness. If you use a digital oscillator, this phase never occurs.

8. The Analog synthesizer provides a rich audio reference beyond the standard of digital audio, 44.1kHz, which actually has more bass or treble. This is as if LPs are less accurate than CDs, but audio responses have a wider band.
