- Hi-pass: removes Lo’s; more “electronic” in character

- Band-pass: removes Lo’s + Hi’s; gives more variety; good for brass simulations

 

 

 

Inverted envelopes:

- Drive filter downward below manual cut-off Freq. area

- Good for synthesized percussion & sound effects

 

 

Noise Generator:

- An oscillator generates white or pink noise

- Gives effects on various synth sounds (e.g. snare drum, flute, ...)
