4. The Publisher agrees that it will render statements and pay to the Writer within sixty (60) days after Feburuary 28th and November 30th of each year all royalties earned by the Writer in excess of advances previously paid and due and owing at the end of such semiannual periods.

 

5. Wherever in this contract reference is made to compositions heretofore written or arranged by the Writer, it is understood by parties that the Writer does not herein assign any interest which may have been the subject of an assignment of copyright or other agreement with a music publisher which was duly recorded with the Copyright Office.

 

6. The Writer agrees that all of the lyrics and music delivered by the Writer to the Publisher hereunder shall be Writer's own original composition or arrangements and that no part thereof shall be an imitation or copy of any other copyright work.

 

7. The term of this agreement shall commerce as of the week of 2019 and shall continue for a period of fifty-two (52) weeks.

In addition thereto, Publisher is hereby granted an option, to be exercised by written notice sent to Writer within thirty (30) days prior to the termination of the initial term of this agreement, to extend this agreement for an additional term of fifty-two (52) weeks on the same terms, including the continuation of the same advance royalty payments during such extended term.

 

8. The Writer hereby authorize and empowers the Publisher to renew and extend, pursuant to law, for and in the name of the Writer, the copyright throughout the entire world of the said compositions and to execute in the name of the Writer and deliver a formal assignment of such renewal extension or further term of copyright to the Publisher for its own use and benefit subject to the payment of the same royalties as hereinbefore provided.
